Small classes are conducted in a comfortable home setting.
Congratulations! Becoming a parent is one of life's most rewarding and challenging events. Being informed and educated about your birth choices will make the process more relaxing and enjoyable. Once you are informed, choices are easier to make. Natural labor or medicated labor? Epidurals? Breastfeeding or bottle feeding? These are personal choices. Professional and compassionate training enables you to make the right choices.
Childbirth Class
A comprehensive class to educate the expecting couple about pregnancy and birth. Includes pregnancy physiology, comfort choices in labor including breathing and relaxation techniques as well as information about epidurals and other medications in labor. Early newborn and postpartum information is also included. These classes are divided into two four-hour sessions. It is recommended that the classes are taken consecutively, but busy schedules may make it necessary to personalize the class dates. Please check the website for specific dates and times. $175 for both sessions. Taught by Pam Bogda (limit 6 couples)

Prenatal Yoga with the Exercise Ball (Taught by Dee)
Exercising with the "birthing ball" :
Develops strength with proper alignment
Soothes your aching back
Enhances and modifies yoga poses for pregnancy
Maintains balance and stability as your baby and belly grow
Join Dee for a fun, informative class. You may even find the birthing ball a wonderful option to assist you with your labor. $30 per class. Taught by Dee.(Limit 6)

Pam Bogda, RNC, BSN
Pam is a Registered, Certified Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in maternal and pediatric nursing. Pam is an experienced teacher of labor and delivery nurses as well as new parents. Pam's training includes a special emphasis on labor support, breastfeeding, and infant CPR. She has a special interest in postpartum depression support as well as strategies that support family life. Pam is studying for her Master's degree in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety.
